No Love Lost as 49ers beat the billwalshjr-less Seahawks
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Drew Brees has never looked better than he did Monday night in a 49ers uniform. Brees completed 12 of 24 passes for 197 yards, with two touchdowns and no interceptions, and a sign that he might finally be developing into the player the 49ers thought he would become when they traded for him in the offesason.

The 49ers’ defense was dominant again this week giving up only 110 yards to the Seahawks sacking the opposing quaterback 13 times and 1 Interception.

Coach Singletary was asked before the game to speak on the feud between the 49ers and the Seahawks, “We don’t like them, they don’t like us, It’s on Again." said Singletary. Forget the buzzer. Maybe a ring-side bell would be better to signal the end of each quarter. In the end, the 49ers prevail 31-6

Thanks to Kevin for the sub

If You Missed It Last Night
Now, before you haters and nay-sayers suggest that the 49ers and Cardinals games don’t HAVE meaning in their .. ummm, spotty history, let me tell you, how wrong you are.

You see, while prior to the current season, neither the Cardinals nor 49ers have spent much time being mentioned in the same sentence as ‘success’ or ‘playoffs’ ..or (of course) ‘Super Bowl'. So I figured I’d take this opportunity to share some of the game exciting game info my usual videos don't show you. This was a game for the ages.

The heavily favored Cardinals, with rookie QB McCoy starting, came out swinging, and took a 3 - 0 lead at the end of the first quarter. But as the late August sun was setting, a funny thing happened on their way to an easy victory over this rag-tag group. The San Francisco 49ers refused to lose.

The 49ers, going into the fourth quarter with a comfy 23-17 lead, were just the victims of an amazing fourth-quarter rally that gave the visiting team some much needed credibility. With under 20 seconds to go after being stopped 3 previous plays on the goal line, Jonathan Stewart punched the ball in from the 2 yard line with just three ticks left on the clock! It was pandemonium! It was bedlam! It was riots in the streets I tell you.
Ok, maybe not. But it DID give the Cardinals an amazing 24-23 victory, and a 4-1 record. This season in Arizona has ‘Playoffs’ written all over it!

For those of you who enjoy my weekly videos, I will still put one together. Thanks for visiting my Team page.
